On June 24, Cisco introduced the new CCNA 640-801 exam, replacing the 640-607 version. They also introduced a new two-exam path to CCNA attainment, consisting of the ICND 640-811 and INTRO 640-821 exams. These exams are aligned to the two new courses recommended for CCNA study, Introduction to Cisco Networking Technologies (INTRO) and Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices (ICND), representing the knowledge that a networking professional must master to succeed on the CCNA exam. Candidates can now take the CCNA exam or the ICND and INTRO exams to attain their CCNA certification.
The CCNA Certification Library combines the CCNA INTRO and ICND Exam Certification Guides (1587200945 and 158720083X) to provide the only comprehensive and official self-study preparation books for the new CCNA 640-801 exam. These books incorporate many new product features to improve the reader experience. They have been created in a more modular fashion, breaking down concepts into smaller, easier to absorb blocks of information. The all-new CD-ROM testing engines include simulation-based questions for comprehensive preparation. Finally, the CD-ROMs include the NetSim for CCNA Learning Edition networking simulation software that allows readers to practice the lab scenarios in the book on a simulated network environment, gaining valuable hands-on experience.
As a special feature, the first print run of this title will include a $10US voucher good towards any of the 3 new CCNA exams, redeemable worldwide.
